ON DESIGN

I was thinking about what it is to be a designer. and what it means to grow as a designer and if there is ever a ceiling that we wont be able to push through.

I think things are going to get more exciting as designers think of new ways to expand existing frameworks, allow their systems of thinking and creating to cross over into other disciplines, professions and fields. I"m not sure what this means or what this looks like.

But i know part of what I am realizing that if you want to develop your existing skills you have to test the limits of what those are, identify where they can take you and then recognize that they can only get you so far. Once that happens you can begin to think about all that you don't know and start in again.
